Are you saved? Have you been born again? Have you repented and believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ? If so, you have reason to rejoice! If you have Christ, you have everything you need for this life and for eternity. The Lord has blessed His children beyond measure with spiritual blessings in Christ. The believer who recognizes all they have in Christ can say with the Psalmist “my cup runneth over” (Ps. 23:5). Not only is my cup full, but it is overflowing with the blessing of God. The following was written by Robert T. Ketcham and shows all that Jesus Christ becomes to the believing heart:
“In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Life that can never be forfeited.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Relation which can never be abrogated; we have a Righteousness which can never be tarnished; we have an Acceptance which can never be questioned; we have a Judgment which can never be repeated; we have a Title which can never be clouded.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Position which can never be invalidated; we have a Standing which can never be disputed; we have a Justification which can never be reversed; we have a Seal which can never be broken; we have an Inheritance which can never be alienated; we have a Wealth which can never be depleted; we have a Resource which can never be diminished, a Bank which can never be closed.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Possession which can never be measured; a Portion which can never be denied; a Peace which can never be destroyed; a Joy which can never be suppressed; a Love which can never be abated; a Grace which can never be arrested.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Strength which can never by vitiated; we have a Power which can never be exhausted; we have a Salvation which can never be annulled; we have a Forgiveness which can never be rescinded.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Deliverance which can never be thwarted; we have an Assurance which can never be disappointed; we have a Nature which can never be changed; we have an Access which can never be discontinued.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have an Attraction which can never be superseded; we have a Comfort which can never be lessened; we have a Service which can never be unrewarded; we have Intercessor who can never be disqualified; we have a Revelation which can never be destroyed.
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have a Victor who can never be vanquished; we have a Resurrection which can never be hindered; we have a Hope which can never be disappointed, and we have a Glory which can never be dimmed.
Yes, Christ is all. Christ is all in the Father’s vision. Christ is all in the Spirit’s message. Christ is all in the Scripture’s pages. Christ is all in Creation’s morning. Christ is all in sin’s midnight. Christ is all in atoning grace. Christ is all in all.”
